Artist Statement

I am a collage artist who works intuitively, weaving narratives that encapsulate the vast spectrum of human emotions.

My interest and specialty is specifically discarded/found material, challenging perceptions about beauty and worth.

Each piece of art I create is a testament to the transformative power of art, where what was once deemed as waste is reborn with purpose and meaning.

This process of transformation mirrors my own personal journey, where collage became a beacon of hope and strength after a near-death experience, offering both solace and purpose.

I invite the viewer to find beauty in the overlooked and to appreciate the continuous dance between creation and decay.

My artwork serves as a reminder that from the remnants of the past, new beginnings can emerge, each fragment telling its own story, yet contributing to a more profound whole – a “oneness”.

About Me

I am not only a multi-disciplinary artist, but also a collector of skills.

My background contains a smattering of curiosities such as a BA in Poetry, a Board Certification in Opticianry, a Certificate as a Death Doula, a Certificate as a Reiki II Practitioner, and a (expired) license as a Septic System Evaluator.  I am also currently working towards a certificate as a Grief Educator.

An interest in collage art, specifically ripping up found magazines, began before all other curiosities and became an essential creative outlet throughout my journey.

I am passionate about making art accessible through found/upcycled materials and my goal is to create spaces in the community where people can explore their own intuition through this creative medium.

You can find me scavenging, ripping, gluing, and facilitating in Vermont, USA.
